Empty Bowl Dinner will help homeless

The Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network will host its 18th annual Empty Bowl Dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Lutheran Seminary, Brossman Center Benbow Hall, 7301 Germantown Ave.

The dinner raises money to aid families who are struggling with homelessness in finding permanent housing. Those who donate will receive a one-of-a-kind handcrafted bowl to serve as a reminder of the thousands of children who go without meals or a place to call home.
